Guesthouse San Martin

Guesthouse San Martin is located in the main part of our home. We live in a connected part of the house together with our calm dog, Toby. Guests have their own private entrance and a private garden, with plenty of privacy.

The guesthouse is best suited for adults, older children, and families with older kids. For families with young children, please note that we do not have baby or toddler facilities such as stair gates, cots, or high chairs.

The entrance to Guesthouse San Martin is located at Sportparklaan 25, 1744KG, Sint Maarten. You can park your car for free just around the corner on Dorpsstraat. For electric vehicles, charging stations are available about 50 meters away on the same street. To reach the front door (not the driveway), walk into the garden alongside the ivy hedge. You will see a Guesthouse San Martin sign there. The key safe is located to the left of the front door and contains the front door key. You will receive the access code in a separate message shortly before arrival. In the living room, you will find a guest guide with additional information.

Please note that the staircase leading to the upper floor, where the bedrooms and bathroom are located, is fairly steep. This may be less suitable for guests with limited mobility, older guests, or young children.

Discover the nearby beaches, wide dunes, and charming villages that make this area so special. Within a short drive or bike ride, you’ll reach the North Sea coast, perfect for long beach walks, fresh sea air, and beautiful sunsets. The surrounding dunes and nature areas invite you to slow down, explore, and enjoy the outdoors.

The region is also home to beautiful forests such as Schoorl and Bergen, known for their scenic walking trails, mountain biking routes, and opportunities for horseback riding. For a more leisurely day, De Wiel is just 3 km away and offers a small lakeside beach as well as an indoor swimming pool, ideal in any season. Golf enthusiasts will appreciate the golf course located within 5 km of the guesthouse.

The surrounding villages offer a relaxed and authentic atmosphere, with inviting cafés, local restaurants, and small shops. The charming town of Schagen, only 5 km from Sint Maarten, is well worth a visit for its terraces, shopping streets, and lively events throughout the year. From weekly markets to seasonal events, there’s always something to discover in the area.
